idayz Mastermind event for facilitators in Amsterdam

As a facilitator, you set the stage for the success of professional gatherings. It is in your hands whether the group achieves its goals, whether it translates challenges into solutions.

You carry a huge responsibility.

What if you could exchange knowledge with experts in your field? Pick each other's brain and learn from each other?

The Mastermind for Facilitators is a peer-coaching session. Here, you are the expert among experts. You will find inspiration from those who facilitate collaboration.

Your benefits

Find sparring partners who are willing to help you to

  • Find insights and solutions to your current challenges
  • Learn about new methods and best practices
  • Identify your unique style, your "unfair advantage" to differentiate yourself and attract your perfect client

The method

The mastermind concept follows a simple procedure:

Each table hosts 5 participants + either the host, Myriam or the keynote speaker, Margreet Jacobs.

Every participant receives 30 minutes in the spotlight. You can use your time to ask for feedback, advice, methods or best practices.

Through the diversity of the group, you will find new perspectives from experts in the field of facilitation. They will point out strengths that you might not have acknowledged before. And, you will learn from their challenges.

In 2.5 hours, you get insights worth of a full coaching day.

How to join

The quality of a mastermind depends on the individuals who attend it. Each member must be willing to share knowledge, expertise and genuine feedback. Then, the group will grow larger than its parts.

Therefore, I carefully select all participants, based on their background, motivation, gender, age, and niche. Everyone must be eager to give and take - ideas, feedback, and joy.

Admission fee for the evening mastermind is 197 Euro

Note that  21% VAT and ticketing fees will add to that price.

Testimonials

Your host

For more than 1,5 years I have been experimenting with live mastermind events. Since then, I have attended many and adjusted my own concept to meet the needs of my guests.

I facilitate collaboration to help groups to get from confusion to clarity to committed action.

My name is Myriam Hadnes, I earned a PhD in Behavioural Economics in Germany and have spent a career in the higher education sector before settling in Amsterdam where I founded idayz (an analogy to "idea days") in November 2017.

Since March 2019, I am hosting the podcast "workshops work" for which I interview fellow facilitators on their magic ingredients that make workshops work. With the live Mastermind events, I want to give you the chance to experience the benefits of a podcast interview.

The agenda

At the event, we proceed in three parts:

  1. Check-in and warm-up
  2. Keynote speech
  3. 5 Mastermind rounds of 30 minutes each
  4. Networking with drinks and snacks

One week before the event, you will receive a complete deck of prep-material in the form of templates, guidelines, and questions that will help you to get ready for your time in the spotlight.

Experience showed that a sound preparation pays off. If you ask your peers precise questions you will get spot-on answers, inspiration, and advice.
