October 24th, from 5 PM in Amsterdam

As a facilitator, you set the stage for success or failure of professional gatherings. It is in your hands whether the group achieves its goals, whether it translates challenges into solutions. That's a huge responsibility.

What if you could exchange knowledge with experts in your field? Pick each other's brain and learn from each other?

The Mastermind for Facilitators is a peer-coaching session. Here, you find inspiration from those who facilitate collaboration: coaches, trainers, educators and facilitating leaders.

Your benefits

Find sparring partners who are willing to help you to

  • Find insights and solutions to your current challenges
  • Learn about new methods and best practices
  • Identify your unique style, your "unfair advantage" to differentiate yourself and attract your perfect client

The method

The mastermind concept follows a simple procedure:

You will share a table with 4 participants. Everyone has the same amount of time - 30 minutes - in the spotlight. You can use your time to ask for feedback, advice, methods or best practices.

Through the diversity of the group and their expertise, you will learn about new perspectives. And, they will point out your strengths that you might not have acknowledged before.

You will meet like-minded peers who are willing to share their knowledge and experience as much as you are. In 2.5 hours, you get insights worth of a full coaching day.

How to join

The quality of a mastermind depends on the individuals who attend it. Each member must be willing to share knowledge, expertise and genuine feedback. Then, the group will grow larger than its parts.

Therefore, I carefully select all participants, based on their background, motivation, gender, age, and niche. Everyone must be eager to genuinely give and take advice, feedback, and joy.

Admission fee is 245 Euro, incl 21% VAT.

The fee includes the mastermind, material, a professional headshot picture as well as snacks,  drinks and networking cocktail.

Your host

For more than 1,5 years I have been experimenting with live mastermind events. Since then, I have attended many and adjusted my own concept to meet the needs of my guests.

I facilitate collaboration to help groups to get from confusion to clarity to committed action.

My name is Myriam Hadnes, I earned a PhD in Behavioural Economics in Germany and have spent a career in the higher education sector before settling in Amsterdam where I founded idayz (an analogy to "idea days") in November 2017.

Since March 2019, I am hosting the podcast "workshops work" for which I interview fellow facilitators on their magic ingredients that make workshops work. With the live Mastermind events, I want to give you the chance to experience the benefits of a podcast interview.

The agenda

At the event, we proceed in three parts:

  1. Keynote speech delivered by Patrick Cowden
  2. 5 Mastermind rounds of 30 minutes each
  3. Networking with drinks and snacks

One week before the event, you will receive a complete deck of prep-material in the form of templates, guidelines, and questions that will help you to get ready for your time in the spotlight.

Experience showed that a sound preparation pays off. If you ask your peers precise questions you will get spot-on answers, inspiration, and advice.

Detailed agenda

We start the evening with a keynote speech by Patrick Cowden: TEDx speaker, author, and visionary thinker. He was the first guest on my podcast and will share his "Beyond Leadership" method with which he connects people within minutes. Two researchers from Zurich just published a book about its effectiveness. Come, and experience it first-hand.

After the fifth and final mastermind round, it's time to connect and enjoy: I will serve drinks and snacks and you can get an unbranded headshot picture. Just like the ones I used for the testimonials.

While the official part of the mastermind ends at 8.30 PM, the time after will help you to dive into deeper discussions with your peers and connect to those who were joining the other tables.
